Bio

Starting his 1st year with the Bulldogs, Hayden Stockton came to MHS from Central Phenix City High School. Coach Stockton graduated from Winston County High School where he played football (QB, safety, punter, kicker) and basketball (point guard) and ran track (100m, high jump, and 440 and mile relay). He attended the University of Alabama, punting for the Crimson Tide and earning a B.S. degree in Human Performance. He also completed his master's degree in Physical Education at Alabama State University. His coaching experiences include Jacksonville State University (1998-2000, special teams coordinator and LB coach) Prattville (2001-2005, linebackers and kickers), Clay-Chalkville (2005-2007, defensive coordinator, linebackers, and women's golf head coach), and Stanhope Elmore (2007-2009, defensive coordinator, assistant head coach, and head soccer coach). Coach Stockton and his wife Melissa, a state employee, have 2 children: Olivia (15) and Cooper (9).
