Scholarships

Requirements for Consideration Include the Following:

        The student must be a senior in an accredited high school.

        The student must have a scholastic average of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.

        The student must have commendable participation in school. Recommendation: for example, Honors, School Activities, Clubs, Offices Held, etc.

        The student must be well rounded with varied interests and abilities that exhibit good moral character. Recommendation: for example, Church Affiliation, Community Service/Volunteer Activities, Hobbies/Special Talents, Career Plans, etc.

 

Completed Application Packet Must Include the Following:

        Completed scholarship application accompanied by a personal photo (no selfies).

        Student Autobiography. Include your school participation activities & honors, and offices held as well as interests that exhibit your good moral character

        Choose and answer one of the provided essay questions.

        Request high school transcript.

        Two letters of recommendation; One from Teacher/ Guidance Counselor and a second letter from community involvement, for example, Church Affiliation, Community Service/Volunteer Activities, Hobbies/Special Talents, Career Plans, etc.

        Acceptance letter from chosen college or university (If applicable).
