I grew up in Wilmer, AL, a small town on the outside of Mobile, AL. I attended University of Mobile and earned my degree in mathematics. Later in my career I earned my masters and am starting my 17th year teaching math. Recently I earned my national certification as a STEM educator. I taught at my alma mater Mary G Montgomery High School for three years before moving to Prattville. I stayed at home for a few years with my children and then I taught at Prattville Junior High School for five years.  I am excited to be starting my ninth year at Marbury.  I am married to my best friend and have three wonderful girls.  Two are MHS alumni and my youngest is a current Bulldog.  I love this community and am looking forward to the new school year.  My idea of a great day includes laughing with my family, reading a good book and soaking up pool time. I truly enjoy teaching math and feel blessed to get to do what I do:)
